When absorbed in a long game of X-MEN one cool evening in my quarters, I was struck by the uninspired mode lights near the flippers. These lights are there to help you navigate the game, and yet they are all white. Given that my ancestors gave the gift of the compass to the world, changing navigation forever, it was my turn to take inspiration from that and help make navigating X-MEN’s modes easier and more beautiful.
